"Cheap" apps can work fantastically for awhile, but if development stops, you stop. Most of the time you really DO get what you pay for with software. I looked at CLAD and I am of the opinion that it looks very legit and costs enough to make me believe that it is well developed with continuing development.
You can buy software, but buy the best because these sites change code slightly over time to cut down on spam, and if the people who developed the app are not on top of it you will find your software is useless at some point. The methods are multiple step processes, from posting to how you can get responses without being banned/flagged by other members. It is a locals only advertising site, generally.
